Testimonials

"I feel that I am a part of a family at Sakula and am happy that I decided to do the Teacher Training at Sakula. Sharon made herself available throughout the entire teacher training program. She is truly a wonderful and knowledgeable teacher, and I am so happy that I decided to take the next step in my own journey. Bringing in the special guest teachers brought something extra." - Teresa - 2013

"The program has been fun, and I have learned a lot of things, both from a spiritual perspective and hands on asana knowledge. The studio is very supportive and friendly. Sharon is very easy to approach, and my classmates were easy to get along with. I love all of the guest teachers and I wish that we could have had more guest teachers. It helped a lot in opening different perspective for us and learning different opinions and teaching styles. Sakula teachers and students have been really supportive, too! They were all very kind and generous accepting us into the classroom to help us to learn from them. Love this friendly atmosphere! :)" - Inmi – 2014

"YTT at Sakula was a beautiful experience. The curriculum offered a well-rounded education in the most important aspects of yoga, and throughout our studies we were encouraged to apply a yogic mentality to our whole lives. The program was well-paced to instill confidence in the teacher trainees and allowed us to attain the necessary knowledge to help share the healing practice of yoga with others. I loved being taught by a variety of teachers each bringing something special and personal to the class. The sincere care for our progress shown by Sharon, Ro and Bonnie, our mentors, and the guest teachers was remarkable and so appreciated. Sakula feels like home thanks to the love and support of those running the program, as well as the truly wonderful students who shared the experience and grew together as a team. Thank you deeply for this experience". - Love, Nettie – 2015
