This month our yoga teacher spotlight is on Sharon Hong. Sharon is an E-RYT 500 and C-IAYT certified yoga teacher. She is also certified in Warm Water Yoga and is the Lead Trainer at SaKula Yoga Studios.

Meet Sharon's Husband, Ken

Sharon has been married to Ken since 2010. They are foodies at heart that love to travel to Hawaii and Wine Country in California.

Sharon's "Fur Babies"

Meet Sharon's fur babies...Zoe her cat, Venus her little lady pup and Teddy. This past month Sharon had to say goodbye to her little man Teddy. And while it's always sad to say goodbye we can all see the love this pup had having Sharon as his mommy! 🙂

Hobbies, Hobbies, Hobbies

Sharon's hobbies include experimenting with metalsmithing, wire jewelry, and growing a vegetable garden. You can often find pieces like the one to the right, around Sharon's neck!

All around the world...

Sharon loves to collect sand from all around the world. She has sand from over 50 different places in the world, including Saudi Arabia and Hawaii.

Sharon's Class Spotlight

Sharon’s classes are an eclectic blend of flow, primarily focusing on Hatha alignment principles coupled with breathing techniques and postures which allow the body to move in and out of stillness with stability and range of mobility. Her restorative poses are restful and nurtured focusing on positive self-care.

Her favorite mantra is: “Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu” which means “May All Beings Be Happy and Free”.
